The TurnSignl App

Black-owned, Minnesota-based TurnSignl is an on-demand, real-time service that provides 24/7 legal guidance from an attorney to drivers while their camera records the interaction. When drivers are stopped by law enforcement officers or involved in a car accident, they can access live video chat with an attorney at the press of a button. TurnSignl attorneys are vetted and trained to de-escalate interactions between police, drivers, and passengers.

TurnSignl was born out of necessity, in the same city where George Floyd tragically lost his life to police violence.

Our History

2016 Philando Castile was killed by law enforcement.

2020 History repeated itself, and George Floyd lost his life at the hands of law enforcement. In October, our Co-Founders left their corporate careers and began the development of the TurnSignl app.

2021 The TurnSignl app launched in Minnesota and expanded to Georgia.

2022 TurnSignl expanded coverage to 21 more states, including California, Florida, New York, and more.

2023 TurnSignl continued to grow, launching in all remaining states and markets across the United States!

    Prior to TurnSignl, Jazz was an attorney at a 150+ attorney national law firm, as well as their Director of Diversity and Inclusion. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of St Thomas.
