TurnSignl launched in Minnesota
Minnesota-based TurnSignl is an on-demand, real-time app and service that facilitates and records law enforcement interactions with drivers during traffic stops and accidents. In the event that they are pulled over, a driver can access a live legal representative at the touch of a button or voice command. TurnSignl vetted attorneys meet stringent criteria and are trained in de-escalating police-citizen encounters.
The service costs $9.99/month and this fee is all subscribers pay for on-demand use. Drivers may opt to hire the law firm directly for post-stop representation. We are initially launching in Minnesota and plan to expand to various cities throughout the United States in 2021 and 2022. It’s fitting that the birthplace of the TurnSignl brand is also the city where George Floyd was killed by a police officer. Now, there is hope. Now, more people will return home safe at the end of the day.
Our app is efficient and easy to use. Signing up is simple and our user interface is intuitive. In the event of a traffic-related incident, drivers simply press the phone app or use voice command to access a TurnSignl approved attorney and record the event. All interactions are then stored and encrypted into your own personal cloud.
TurnSignl offers 24/7/365 access to legal guidance from attorneys who are experts at keeping drivers safe and protected. Attorneys de-escalate potentially volatile encounters and guard citizens’ constitutional rights during traffic stops, traffic violations, equipment violations, and accidents. We only partner with law firms that meet our stringent criteria and follow established protocols. These firms are hired on a state-by-state basis so they can guide drivers within the scope of local laws, rights, and requirements. In the event of an arrest, detainment, accident, or other post-stop situation, drivers can opt to hire the law firm directly.
Every member of our team is dedicated to the advancement of social justice, safety, and equality for all. We’re hard-working, optimistic, innovative, and passionate. We created TurnSignl to help all drivers feel safe and empowered, with a particular focus on marginalized communities including non-white and LGBTQ individuals.
